But check out the stem of the leaf in second picture please... isn’t that purple stem a red flag for K deficiency? And all those yellow blotches in the browning leaves made me think........

So you suspect a burn? If it’s K deficiency wouldn’t lowering ppm hurt the plants even more? I just adjusted pH down to 5.8 btw.

UPDATE: I just checked pH with my 2 cheap meters and they show 6.8-7.0 at the moment. I know that is really not where it should be but with this recommended "not messing with pH using pH perfect series" thing baffles me... I'm having a hard time trying not to add pH down. Or maybe I shall...
