    A perfect cure every time

Ya, the bagging of the racks in my case is the most efficient way, I like to handle everything as little as possible and transfers back and forth to and from tubs/jars wouldn't be time effective at all. A similar method with a smaller rack/bag would work just as well I would think though. Its...

    A perfect cure every time

Thank you very much for your input. A little side info, my drying room is stable @ 50% RH, 19C. The buds are on the larger side, once plants are trimmed everything lives in https://www.lamota.org/en/hanging-drying-rack-round/# until the whole thing (the rack collapses) goes into a large garbage...

    A perfect cure every time

I'm assuming for those people who have a larger amount of product, that the same procedure would apply but with a larger vessel (rubbermaid, garbage bag etc). One thing that wasn't mentioned in the OP was an approximate start to finish timeline (obviously this will vary some) for this method...

lost the ability to edit posts?

thread is located here https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/614260-fim-vs-topping-best-clones.html, broken picture links for some reason. I was planning on going back and editing everything into the first post once I was done my testing, is there a way to bypass the 3 day...

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

The only person trying to pick a fight here is you. Your demeaning tone and hostility cheapen the quality information you provide to the community. This is your thread, and you're clearly not interested in having a conversation (read: constructive criticism) so I will respectfully bow out. For...

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

Ok. Last time. Its MY turn to speak very slowly, since you obviously aren't picking up what I'm putting down. Just to reiterate: I agree, and stated clearly, that using your method on a clone wont get your specific results for obvious reasons. Nowhere did I say that you will get the same...

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

Sorry, maybe I didn't communicate what I was trying to say properly. When someone comes in this thread and asks if your technique will work on a clone with alternating nodes and is replied to with a categorical "no", that simply isn't correct. I am well aware that this is your thread relating to...

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

Again, I'd like to interject. I (and others) have had success with traditional topping methods on clones with alternating nodes, and although I wouldn't necessarily call the results traditional (symetirical mirrored growth from multiple new growth sites), new growth in multiple mains is still...

FIM vs Topping: Best for clones with alternating nodes?

Im starting to notice the same thing. The growth habits of my topped clones are really impressing me. I agree, there doesn't seem to be much difference in the results so far, not really enough to justify the extra time/effort and room for error.

FIM vs Topping: Best for clones with alternating nodes?

Here's another update, as promised. Both sides are doing well, and the plants that I missed the FIM on and re-did are bouncing back nicely. It looks like the correction that I made to my technique worked, and it looks like all the test plants on the FIM side are back on track. Here is one of...

FIM vs Topping: Best for clones with alternating nodes?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but lst doesn't necessarily redistribute Auxins to new growth sites, it merely allows light to access the interior regions of a plant and encourage growth at existing sites. The greatest collections of Auxins will still be at the point on the plant that has...

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

Thanks for your input. After a whole lot of reading I started a little experiment of my own, and my results seem to go against what was described in this thread when it comes to topping clones with alternating nodes. I certaily don't want to clutter up this sticky with my off topic ramblings, so...

FIM vs Topping: Best for clones with alternating nodes?

Well, here we are 7 days later. Basically what I found out was that I wasn't fimming far enough down the new growth to get the desired effect and therefore this isn't really a fair test at this point. This is what the majority of my fim'd plants look like, unfortunately. Clearly you can see the...

FIM vs Topping: Best for clones with alternating nodes?

Id like to touch on the topic of alternating nodes and asymmetrical growth, I posted this in uncle bens topping technique thread, but after 450 pages, things tend to get lost in there. https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/151706-uncle-bens-topping-technique-get.html Please...

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

Maybe if I put a little more effort in and explain a little better where I'm coming from. Here is my one week old cut. Clearly you can see the alternating nodes beginning to grow. Not ideal for traditional topping methods, obviously. Here it is a week later, even easier to see the...
