purple or red bud is a sign of potassium deficiency, it is a defect unless you are growing a purple strain, they will generally finish with purple pistils instead of red.

thanks, I do have a clone room. i keep the veg to a minimum because the totes only allow for so much upward growth.

I think yer fulla shit. A 1000w HPS light @ 1 foot away is about as much light as the sun puts out on a cloudy day. and you have nowhere near that much power in yer ship lights budday.

nice, I never lose a clone, and I just use root powder, and rockwool, but I pole a hole clean through the cube, and soak them than I leave them alone for a week with out fucking with them and they root great.

I Don't think it makes a damn bit of difference, I never paid any attention to these brown roots as long as the plants are healthy. If i were you I would cover the roots with black plastic so no light gets in. Usually the section of the roots above the water got brown we call em ropes the roots...
