Newb with leaves turning a slight yellow...

I'm fairly sure "Lowe's" has soil PH testers for around $8ish. You stick em straight into the soil for a true reading. Not digital but mechanical. Havn't used em myself as I'm a hydro man but they have carried em for a while. Ask for them in the plant/outside department. They also have...

    Nutrients

Order some real nutes, even if its cheap 1 part nutes like Maxigrow / bloom. You will not be happy with the results from Miracle Grow. Sorry I had to be a sourpuss and I'm sure 1 or 2 will argue differently but I doubt they can show some outstanding Miracle Grow plants that are cannabis and near...

Ah yes dish detergent. I'm sorry was stoned when I reviewed your post and was thinkin "WTF is washing up liquid". Lol, yeah I'd watch for ingredients in them and look for a organic type cleaner. Someone has mentioned milk and I've also heard heavily diluted H202 but I personaly can't testify to...

Don't think that PH tester is meant for soil. If you mix soil with water to get a reading, it won't be a true reading cause the water will modify it. I'm fairly sure your running alkaline on your PH. I know soil should be a lil higher than hydro PH which is 5.3-5.8 but not much I'm sure You can...

I'd love some advise, about to change to 12/12...

Look pretty good for the light you have given them. Remember they grow aproximately twice the height during flowering so use that info to gauge how long you want to veg them. Try to get a 400W or so HPS. You can find budget 400W's for less than 200$ shipped if money is an issue. By the time you...

On the sticky pads, the yellow ones seem to atract the best. Fly strips work well too but I always ended up bumping into them alot and cursing for hours. It does look like spider mite damage but ofcoarse any bug eating your plant would look bad. Havn't dealt with leaf hoppers before but sand...

Probly the safest way is sticky pads or flystrips. Could also use bowl of diluted vinegar set near your troubles babies. Last and not advisable is pestisides. Make sure they are organic if you go this route. These methods work great for spidermites and few other pest. Best of luck Blatrix

    drooping problems! help!

I'm not much of a fan of outdoor dirt grows but some sugestions would be add some shade to the plant during peak hours maybe? Less light but that means less heat too. Secondly if its in pots then maybe move to a more ventelated (breezy) area. Hope to help, Blatrix

Soil grow problems - Advice appreciated

Agree with Mystic, definetly "looks" like a nute lockout problem. keep closer check on PH and try not to adjust to much too fast. Best of Luck, Blatrix

    Feminized plant won't show sex?

Just think of your sex'd plants as early puberty or fast metabolism. Most strains take 1-3 weeks to show sex and/or bud unless you have preflowers. Blatrix

    main leaves yellowing and dying

Not familar with your nutes but with my nutes while in flowering I still run about an 1/8 of grow with the bloom juice to prevent N defiencencies. Stay on top of PH first. Most cases of PH being to high/low is mistaking by difenciencies. Best of Luck, Blatrix

how do u transplant a soil plant to hydro

First time I went to hydro DWC I tried to convert from dirt. Not advisable. Survival rate and stress on plants is very bad. If they are still veg state I would advise cloning from them for hydro use. In the long run you'll be more happy. Blatrix

Newb with leaves turning a slight yellow...

Surely not a light problem if your temps are below 90 degrees. From information provided I'd guess a PH problem locking out nutes. That's where I would start then looking into TDS/EC followed by deficiencies. Glad to help, Blatrix

I imagine your in soil so place about 1/2 of sand ontop of your soil to prevent any nesting of previos/future pest. Won't solve the problem but will certainly notice a difference. Blatrix

    First semi-stealth grow rooms

Turns out the bulb must be bad. It burned for 12 hours no problem, but wouldn't fire again since. Ballast fan runs fine so I think the ballast isn't an issue. I called HTG up today, told them my issue and now they are sending me a Sunmaster replacement with 1 day air. Will be here Monday at the...
