Sounds pretty good, although you may want to think about adding as much light during the veg stages, as your would during the flowering, a healthier plant can produce more bud. as for the height i would suggest looking at some of the help section of topping, and using something to tie down the tops.

it is true that the plants will grow to the lights. but, you shouldn't raise them too much, or you will cause them to over stretch, so be careful
