i have my new cut clones in a rubber made tub with little water in bottom and heat pad on bottom with clear plastic on top what is the best thing i can do to get them to take root and did us root toner it was the powder not gel

should i keep them in low light or dark for how long after they are cut and put in my home made dom lol hill billy ingenering
