Green Crack coming along nicely. Rain predicted for the next few days. Got 'em all tied up and netted so I don't have the same problem as last year. It was my first grow. All of the them broke under the weight (second picture). It was a mess. All plants last year got this kind of damage...

Any other NorCal growers noticing a difference between this year and last? I have some pictures from last year and it looks like my buds were much bigger last year on this date. Hoping it will catch up by the time it's over. Got a lot more dying fan leaves this year also. Used the same exact...

New Problem for me ...does anyone know where to start

I think Diabolical's right. Those spots look like the work of thrips. Not to sound too discouraging but I haven't seen too many people with advice on how to get rid of them. Good luck though.

    Powder Mildew Advice Needed

From what I understand PM spores are everywhere. The trick is to create an environment for your plants that inhibits the spores from turning into full-on mildew. It will kill a plant if left untreated and will definitely ruin your buds if allowed to spread to the ends of the branches. Best to...

    Powder Mildew Advice Needed

I was using hydrogen peroxide and it seemed to work temporarily but the PM got ahead of me. Finally went to my local nursery and they had several products available. They recommended I use this stuff called Green Cure. Active ingredient is potassium bicarbonate. Using 1 tbsp per gallon of...

I live in a fairly rural area. my plants are pretty much out of view from the road out front. You'd practically have to stop your car and use binoculars to see one of the girls mixed in with other tree folliage at the edge of the garden. The front of the house looks very conservative. No...

Kygiacomo, got all the strains from a small local dispensary. I grew GC last year and it was fantastic and a big producer as well. Even after having all my plants break severely, I was able to use splints and stretchy ties and they continued to grow.

Finally getting around to posting a picture of this year's grow. Last year was my first time and I didn't even have them staked. We got an early rain in September and all my plants snapped in half or the branches broke at the trunk. I'm ready for the rain this year, and we need it here in...

I was storing all my stems and waste in one of those big plastic storage bins with a lid. I had the thing stuffed full after taking down most of the plants. I completely forgot about it and opened it up a couple weeks later. The smell almost knocked me on my ass and the whole thing was...

Last two plants to take down (blueberry diesel). They're getting a nice purple color with the colder fall nights and crystal clear indian Summer days here in Nor Cal. I think they'll be coming down by the end of this week as we're expecting some rain by Sunday. Just enjoying the fact that...

Kind of pricey but they look like they'd be good for storing bud. If nothing else, the video is kind of amusing. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy2ARhhllKc

Not the best pictures but I like looking at all the progress we're making. What a week. Perfect weather for trimming out on the deck, running two shifts with my bro. Got the early storm damaged green crack in the jars already. Estimate we've taken in about 1/4 of the total crop. It' gonna be...

Any advice on cleaning crusty, sticky doorknobs and refrigerator handles? The wife is starting to complain and I've found that it is necessary to learn how to open doors with my wrists to avoid being yelled at. :)

Some of the bud I'm trimming is so gooey, it's like trying to trim a banana that's been dipped in honey.

I got those three things at my trim table but they are all sticky and stained from handling them all day. Whew! This trimming is taking forever but the biggest colas and major poundage is yet to come on the blueberry diesel. They're practically dripping with resin :)

I have a question for you guys....I think my super grape ape are very close to being ready. I see quite a bit of amber on some of the bigger leaves but it's not evident on all parts of the cola. There seems to be quite a few lime-green hairs still growing throughout the cola and I'm wondering...
