yes, they are a decent ballast and run alot cooler than magnetic..magnetic ballasts are old technology and get hot enough to cook a steak on..i have used ipower 600w dig ballasts with ipower bulbs for 2 yrs now and have never had any issues wih ballasts or bulbs, they run cool and cheap-2 ipower...
