Showcase your custom Stealth Grow box in Maya, 3DMAX, Sketchup.

What would be more interesting, using Mental Ray as renderer (it's available in most popular software, like Maya), or one with similar photon-tracing abilities. It's been ages since I used Mental Ray, but I remember trying to model a HID-light, with correct spectrum and all. I could trace...

    Potency Difference between Quick-Dried & Long-Cured Buds

I stand by what I said, there is no real increase in potency. I say this simply because of experience (blind-tests with my friends), but of course - I MIGHT suck at curing - so I could be wrong. You DO get high more easily though; It tastes better, easier to smoke more and therefore you get...

    Potency Difference between Quick-Dried & Long-Cured Buds

The general accepted idea/theory as to why curing works (not my text): " You need air and some moisture as they allow the aerobic bacteria to come to life (in the curing jars). They (the bacteria) will consume chlorophyll and make your buds smoke smoother. Less harsh on the throat and...

Tops Of Clones looking very yellow.

Could be normal, they are starting to photosyntesize (instead of simply making roots). BUT, I hope they have enough roots to feed themselves.... Are they in soil? How strong are your lights?

How to keep plant small during veg.

Blue light during veg will keep'em shorter (among other things). I've observed this many times (shorter plants), so it's not a myth. I also use MH during first two weeks of flowering (during the stretch), not sure if this helps much though (always done it, so I have nothing to compare to).

    we losing by ourself.

How did they progress into this? (Doesn't seem like something that would present itself over night). Also, why the solo-cups (for so long), what about potting up with fresh soil? BTW: When you change light intensity, you also change the plants need for food and water. How fast do they drink...

Another State Of The Union, Who Will Obama Blame?

Seems like the US smoke-screen two-party scam is working great.

Questions on best methods when the product will be ingested, not smoked

Sorry for the noise & no help, but the best forum I've seen regarding concentrates (and edibles) are ICmag (. com). Simply because of the knowlegde of the posters (as in educated about extraction and chemistry - way over my head, but I prefer that over "only" opinions).

    checking trichs... think about this

Thanks. I see this CBD/CBN confusion everywhere. Maybe it's the similarity in spelling, but it spreads misinformatin. CBD is great for medical use, but aiming for high CBD only using harvest-timing is pointlesss.

Afghan and Mango ready for harvest?

I guess you meant CBN, which will always increase after THC peaks, and also during drying/curing anyway (THC->CBN). There will be no more cannabidol (CBD). @OP: I don't think I can give you a better answer, you are the one with the plants. Get a scope for the thrics, chop when you want & learn...

Afghan and Mango ready for harvest?

Harvest timing is hard, especially with all these hybrids from seed. Sounds like you know what you're doing anyway. Just keep watching the thrics, chop and learn some more from it (my first grow, I waited too long - yes there really is such a thing).

New growth coming in lime green

If it's only a little more pale (but still green), I wouldn't worry. That's normal for new growth. But a picture would help, just in case. If it's yellow - from the petiole and progressing towards tips, I guess Iron-def or high PH. (Or zinc.. etc, really we're just guessing here without a picture).

Intelligent life forms reveal themselves to our rock....whaddya' think would happen?

All this alien talk reminded me that science now has ruled out time-travel, by searching the internet for time-travelers(!): http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/01/03/physicists-search-internet-time-travellers_n_4535325.html

best ph range for watering plants in soil

I agree. Not with the distilled water, but PH. Of course, the moment the water hits the medium the water will change it's PH. Water does not buffer as strong as soil. So no need to PH the tap-water. Nutrients (bottled) affect PH much more, they can - over time - change the PH of your medium...

    Tips curling !!!!!!!!!

I wish you had taken pictures in natural light. Moisture stress: If you have low humidy (which it IS near the HID-light bulb), the leaves will try to consever mositure by "cupping". They can't breathe. This is not very serious IMHO, however I have trouble looking at your images. Edit: and it...

Intelligent life forms reveal themselves to our rock....whaddya' think would happen?

My personal take on life in the universe. Intelligent life, very very rare. It requires an evolution that ends up with not only a good brain, but a body to work/change/build in that planets environment (like example hands/thumbs). That's rare. But "cows", animals, insects ect are probably...

Sudden problems after 6 weeks of perfect flowering

A picture would really help. Sounds like you should continue, depending on how the plant look (if you suspect calcium-def, it's low PH, or nute inbalance, or lack of calcium in medium). Too much Potassium will make it hard for the plant to get the Calcium. Lack of calcium: weak stems, low...

Stack two fans for better air exchange.

Assuming both fans have same speed. If you connect two inline duct-fans in serial, you get twice the sucking-power - but same airflow-speed (can handle bigger CF's). If you connect them parallell, you get twice the airflow - but no increase in power (airflow-speed). I'm not sure I understood...
