Is it a good idea to trim back large fan leaves? I heard it promotes larger colas and devotes more of the plants enegy to bud production. Also, what leaves should go and which leaves should stay?

Hey hey hey, I have just planted my seedlings (8) under my 400 watt MH and i also put an 80 watt, 4 foot long flourescent at a 45 degree angle over the plants as well. I'm wondering if this is a good idea. My logic is that the more light i can get on those guys the quicker they will grow. Also...
