I thought maturation for some strains was 8 weeks? I mean, won't I be able to harvest some usable product for myself? This is NOT a business venture, this is to smoke myself silly.

Growing from seeds? Well yes.....and? Do I basically just sow them 1/2 inch into the soil and then leave them alone for 2 months?

I have available to me, beginning in late may and ending in late august an unlimited amount of mountainous forest in which I would like to start a grow-op. Most of what I have read on this site has, unfortunately, not been of the clearest quality in the potential direction of growing plants...
