    Silk screens for catching trichomes?

Hello all you fine people of Rollitup! I am constructing a drying cabinet and have been searching the web looking for trichome-catching silk screens. What kind would I need in order to catch all those tiny trichomes? And where can I buy just the screen itself without any kind of racks etc. I...

    Hydroponics

QUESTION TO ANYONE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH COCO!!! Is it really necessary to water flush every time after feeding? I mean, as far as I have understood water flushing coco is that it's something that you need to do in order to remove any possible salt build-up, couldn't I theoretically feed...

Hans 80 watt pineapple Chunk Grow

Hello medicinehuman! I have just started my first grow and I'm using Hans Panels (3x80W & 1x65W) and I was wondering if I should go with the "seeds" setting all throughout the vegetative stage or if I should switch to "mother" at some point. On Bonsai Hero's website it says that the "seeds"...

    Chamomile and marijuana!!

Coffee grounds are great for your compost, it adds lots of nitrogen. On a side note I can also add that coffee is GREAT to combat snails in your garden, they die very quickly if they come into contact with it. It works like a neurotoxin on the little bastards. I basically saved my harvest of...

    Hans panel 65W v 80W

Thanks Heavy Consumer! And as the lights are suspended using carabiners I can easily turn the lights 90° and then the 2''x2'' also gives me the option of moving the entire set of lights back and forth if I need to get a second row of lights in there.

    Hans panel 65W v 80W

Hello guys, perhaps a bit late in this discussion but I am doing just that. About 2 years ago I was living in an appartment and bought 2 65W Hans Panels, intended for a small scale grow in a closet. However, I had to move and never got around to setting it all up. The panels moved with me to...

    Chamomile and marijuana!!

So have you planted the cannabis plants in the same pots/grow beds as the companion plants so they benefit from each other in terms of soil activity? Or are they separated in different pots?

Curing, a myth perpetuated by bad growers

Curing, a myth perpetuated by bad growers

I have been trying to understand fermentation of cannabis and there apparently is some bacteria that is responsible. Most forums that discuss this mention anaerobic bacteria (living without air) which would then suggest that this is the process that happens in the masonry jars after you stop...

Curing, a myth perpetuated by bad growers

Everyone seem quite focused on the removal of moisture i.e. drying but shouldn't there be some fermentation process involved as well?

Whats The Science behind "The Cure"

Awesome post Brick Top! However, if you could give the same scientific explanation of the processes involved in curing cannabis while at the same time explaining the best practices needed in order to achieve all those processes i.e. using exact RH and temperatures etc. - that would be truly...

Curing, a myth perpetuated by bad growers

Hey MuckyDuck! Why are you so hostile? Isn't this forum for asking questions? If you're such an expert on everything about drying and curing then why don't you just answer the questions instead of being such a dick? Try keep things on point instead of attacking people who's questions you don't like.

Curing, a myth perpetuated by bad growers

Ok, what homebrew420 seem to be saying is that you can get the curing going while drying the buds i.e. while they are hanging in the drying room. It's all a matter of how well you regulate the temperature and RH in that room so to make the drying process as slow as possible... Am I right...

best temp n humidity for drying / curing ???

Hello guys! First of all I'd like to say that I am setting up my first grow room right now and have been investing quite a lot of money, time and effort into this.
