Yea not so much the m3 actual size but the length of it. Meaning if the heatsink base is .14 kind of hard to find a screw that won't go through. So I'm guessing if I tap through the heatsink and use a m3 screw but a longer length where it will go through the heatsink I sure that won't be a...

Is it ok if I drill through the heatsink instead of a blind hole considering I can find such a small screw.

Are you sure vero18 is m3 could of sworn it said 2.5. Also how long should these screws be for the heatsink I don't want to go through correct.

Ty much yea I was thinking the two bar would be better I was going to run 5 on each 40 inch 4.85 heatsink. Do you think I will need two fans for those two bars. Is there a power supply unit that I can adjust the output to run those fans at lower voltage and what not. I want to drill and tap so...

With all the new testing is it possible to have 3 vero18 running at 700 mA on an 18 inch 4.885 heatsink from heatsink USA passively cooled. I think with all the calculations I came up with 13 c above ambient does that sound right?

So running 10 vero 18 on that driver should work? Also what do I use to connect that to the wall just buy a regular plug and hook it up to the wires?

Also i just noticed 10 vero 18 running at 700mA Voltage would be 286.5, as the HLG-185H-c700a has a max of 286 would this be running this unit max power hence less efficiency and lower lifespan for the led driver.

yea i think im going to use one HLG-185H-c700a for all 10 vero18. If i am calculating this right that would be 200 watts. Also not sure if i should buy the a version or b version for the led driver. Do they led drivers need a power supply that i need to buy separately. Anyone have a good supply...
