Light green. So the one will the root well I couldn't make it sprout again?

So I recently started doing my plants. I planted them in soil they did good at first then wilted over died. Some are still alive. So I have 2 questions if anyone can help. 1. Is there a way to revive the roots which aren't dead and still green? 2. How would I do it and take care the plants?
