    Water cooling surface area requirements

Hi guys! I've seen passive and air cooled surface area requirements but what about water cooling? If i have a water cooling system that can handle 25 celsius (80F) consistenly, how large should the heatsink be or is it irrelevant because of surrounding ambient temperature?

All COB Users - Lettuce Grow Challenge!!

OneHitDone The discolouration in lettuce from LED is the biggest issue to tackle. We cant sell a product like that. After that is umol/W, to get over 3 umol is what i'm personally aiming for as the biggest cost for growing indoors is electrical bills. Got more money for light research, do you...

Have trouble to find mcpcb that fits it. Going for blurple setup to my lettuce garden as i'm not happy with the...

    Pairui drivers or not?

No problem at all. Just backing up my statement that 50w of CLU048-1212 at 1400mA gives out 2.14 umol/J/W and not using CXB3590 numbers.

    Pairui drivers or not?

Without drivers 480 Euro. Yes you can easily upgrade the cobs. The heatsinks have a capability to 50W of any cob. CREE and bridgelux is good options.

    Pairui drivers or not?

Here you go, see attached file Efficiency for both drivers is 93,5%.

You're right, It probably has the same effciency but gives out less PAR. Would be so much easier if they had an calculator on their website as Samsung does.

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

This means that Brigdelux diods is not as efficient as Samsung. Samsung M series have the same lumens output but i believe their LM561B plus SMD leds have a higher QER and lower LER. Which means overall PAR output is slightly higher. LM561B plus LER and QER is probably the same as LM561C as...
