    Yellowing out, freaking out!

Beginning week 8 now.. The discoloration is here to stay.. though at this point, I'm not sure it matters much. The buds are swelling into their final weeks, and bud development clearly is doing fine for a single patient grow. By the looks of the trichome pics, I'd say they're at least 2 full...

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

You could not be more right.. I'm getting the quantity I need, AND the experience required to avoid this in the future.. plus the buds are still swelling and I've got 3 clones that just got in the tent, so I'll be fine

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

I think the bud development rate is such that, although I probably hurt my overall yield, they'll still make it to harvest with a decent amount. As it is, I'm only growing for myself, so anything more than a couple ounces is more than enough.. and I still have 3 OG Kush clones to flower when...

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

The purple from the lamps definitely makes them look worse in the tent than out of the tent, but there is most definitely something negative going on. The last pics posted are outside of the purple light.

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

Yellowing continues, though not as fast thankfully. Leaf loss has slowed considerably.

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

Yeah, pretty much. I transitioned from veg to bloom nutes like I always do, but they just started yellowing from the bottom up. I figured I had a nitrogen deficiency, and treated it as such with no effect. It just kept getting worse. I chalked it up to the tent getting dry (35-40% at 75°) and...

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

I've given my smallest plant a pH'd watering with Recharge. I'm very curious to see how she makes out. If all fares well, I may do the same for the larger two at the next watering.

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

It could also be that I'm using older ferts.. I had this stuff leftover from nearly 2 years ago in mason jars. I actually called Vermicrop before starting veg, asked them if there was any exp, they said I should be fine without additional ammendment beyond feed chart. Makes me wonder now...

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

I've had luck with Vermicrop's top dressings, but this one got away from me fast! I usually feed half of what their chart recommends for the first month of flower, gradually switching from veg to bloom notes, then adjust as needed. Not sure where I went wrong this time. I may check out Age Old...

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the responses. As for the plants? Nothing but pH'd water for a bit, maybe a dose of Recharge. We'll see where that takes them. This is why I take clones! Next round will be better!

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

Thank you to everyone with suggestions and tips on this issue! For now, I've decided to dial everything back a bit, and water a bit more between feedings, just to see what happens. I'll post an update when theres a serious shift one way or the other.. or they make it to harvest

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

At this point, I'm thinking a flush is probably the best way to go.. The condition seems to worsen after a feeding, so theres either a toxicity issue, or a buildup / lockout situation. I worry if I wait too long I'm shooting myself in the foot. Recovery from issue vs recovery from flushing...

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

There is a slight purplish shading around d the edges of some of the leaves that I hadn't noticed before.. not sure if the pics are showing that or not.

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

I'm in week 5 of flower, and the plants seem to have been yellowing from the bottom since the flip.. I thought it was a nitrogen deficiency, but it's so late into flower I'm not sure anymore. Everything I do seems to make it worse.. Yellowing from bottom, then they just curl to a dead dry...

T5 Exclusive Grow / First Grow

So of my own ignorance, and have since learned of it and corrected it, I've found those T8s to be fuckin' awesome LPW rating, (same as T5) and super low operating temp, which is impressive for the efficiency. because of the low operating temp (77 deg. F) which is low enough for them to actually...

T5 Exclusive Grow / First Grow

Hard to say,.. apples and oranges man yours are auto's, whereas mine were not. At day 35, mine were still in veg, but since yours are autos, there's no definitive point in your flowering schedule.. That being said, they look a few weeks into their respective flowering stage and they're doing...

T5 Exclusive Grow / First Grow

any high intensity discharge lighting isn't all that cost effective when I can produce more than what I need using a few flouros.. but it sounds like w/ the T8's you're losing lumen/watt efficiency. An upgradIe to hps might be the way to go.. but going that route, you'll most likely lose sq ft...

T5 Exclusive Grow / First Grow

I chose floros to reduce any noticeable pull from the grid plus the added benefit of running cool enough to keep 'em right on top of the canopy and maximizing lumen exposure. More lumens, more bud! The buds aren't going to be crazy dense, but mine were just as dense as the dispensary bud when...

I need to record the smell of this bud so when it's all gone, I'll still have the smell around to keep this smile going.

T5 Exclusive Grow / First Grow

Ran everything in this journal under a 6 bulb 1.5'x4' T5 - 216 watt lamp. As for lumens? They're throwing 20k/bulb, but I can only speculate without the means to actually measure, and what with slight loss over the distance between bulb and canopy, though it's not much. I cool w/ a 20" box fan in...
