This is what I use. Cheap shop light at Lowe’s. I hang it above 2, 36 spot clones. Approx 2.5’ above the plants.

Exactly. Also too much light might actually make the clones NOT root. It really doesn’t take much.

You can defoliate fan leaves but it’s better suited for day 1 and 21 of flower. If you want more tops you can top your plant (I only do it once and keep that as a clone). You can also just break the stem slightly and bend it to the side. The other branches will grow up and bush the plant out...

Look at those pictures. Those plants are very young. I wouldn’t water a 10 gal pot to runoff daily with only a 2” plant that’s in the veg cycle. But I no longer use coco. I’m sure you know better.

F If I were going to set somebody up to do an organic grow I would give them straight ProMix 1st. The reason being you’re going to want the least amount of variables and things that could go wrong. Coco can have different pH necessities and/or fluctuations. It’s not going to be much different...

For sure, but in a 10 gal pot it might be too much to dry out daily. The greatest success I’ve had with coco is in small pots that dry out completely every day. 1s were best. I never had success with higher than 3 gal pots.

The first thing I usually suspect is overwatering. Try letting them dry out a lot. Then wait another day. Then water. Be sure to wait until they’re dry again to water every time.

I have seen numerous growers get away with cloning with their plants just on the sides of their room. It may take som time to dial and find the right spot. I personally use an old shop light. A t8 with 2 bulbs that I don’t switch out vet often, and keep pretty far above my cloner.
