    Forbidden fruit breeders cut - dwc , 4x4 , jacks , kind x750

It's a combination of things. I'd do what I can to stay below 60% but if your temps aren't dipping that reduces the odds.

Beautiful flowers! How's the weather treating you?

Will a brighter LED light improve the frostiness of the bud?

That's a really nice looking grow. No photon is going to waste! What are you nutrient levels? I've been growing at 1k± for a few years and have run into issues when I go over 1100. Over the course of a grow, some of the buds will hit mid 1100's but these numbers are pretty standard for later...

Good point - it's just a few bucks more and if AI is a bother, you can always shut it off!

    Adding Humidity questions???

This is a good source of info. VPD drives transpiration which drives water uptake which is how 90% of nutrients (by mass) are brought into a plant. About 50% of nutrient problems are a result of poor VPD (according to a couple of sources). The good news is that it's usually pretty easy to keep...

    Adding Humidity questions???

Rather than set RH, have you looked into VPD? VPD is a combination of temperature and RH and it can be a very important factor in plant health.

Foxtailing at the end of flower

I started seeing that shape about a month out and the horns kept growing through the end of the grow. "I can’t sell that idk about you.."- agree. The plants produce a lot of weed but it's butt ugly big colas. :-(

Foxtailing at the end of flower

I think I understand what you're trying to say but can't be sure. My belief is that the horns are a result of genetics, using lots of light, and an extended flower time. Despite being vegged under a veg light, my plants grow to 4' plus and grows always take 110+ days. Combine those factors...

Anyone us bestva led with good results

Best VA made some decent board lights but they also made some lights that I would stay away from. There are a lot of excellent products on the market. What light are you considering?

New sealed room c02 and ac many questions please help

You're absolutely correct and I was wrong to assume that you were on a standard 42 veg before flip cycle. And that's a good example of how one metric may be correct but lead to the wrong conclusion. Over the course of a 12 month period, you're turning out a lot of cannabis. If you're...

    Gorilla Glue #4 Community Journal

I just posted a follow message on this thread about foxtailing. I've grown "Original Glue", Nirvana's version of Gorilla Glue, a few times and it's done really, really well for me. One of the things I "do different" is give my plants a lot of light and, over the years, I've seen the Original...

Foxtailing at the end of flower

Turn a software engineer loose on chatGPT and… I uploaded this photo from my most recent grow and posed this question: "I've uploaded this in reference to your comment "energy-driven "stacking" that’s more stem than flower (especially in sativa-dominant strains)." the cultivar was "original...

    Help choosing led

Heh, blurples rock(ed)! I had a Kind LED back in the day but switched to newer designs back in 2021. Even since then, things have changed a lot. I've spent a lot of time learning about grow lighting and I admit that not all growers have my same level of enthusiasm. If you "just want to grow...

New sealed room c02 and ac many questions please help

That's a good result but took more work. That's a good point. I hadn't thought of that. Yeh, it was worth it just to find out. I think I used it once. There's been a joke about boats being "A hole in the water that you pour money into." I see that with this hobby, too. I'm guilty of that, no...

Will a brighter LED light improve the frostiness of the bud?

I would not try to grow cannabis at 1200µmol in ambient CO2. I've been growing at "high light" for a few years and have done, pretty much, everything possible to dial in my grow environment and the strains I've been running have maxed out at 1100µmol. Some of my buds get 1150µmol but I think...

New sealed room c02 and ac many questions please help

I agree. You're generating a lot of crops over the course of a year but more light, early will increase yield significantly. Yeh, that was the funny thing. I spent $25 on the anemometer and set my windspeed to 1 meter per second. Lo and behold, the leaves were "fluttering" just like...

New sealed room c02 and ac many questions please help

This is the only time in my life I've ever "started a trend". 2' x 4' tent and I can only grow one at a time. I've tried to grow four then two then one then two and I always end up with a dominant plant. I AI'd that a few weeks ago and, yeh, it's a real thing. I call them "Twinz" grows, from...

Early flower stage. Lots of new branches on manifold

Well water? My impression is that it's high in dissolved solids. Fire up an EC meter and the number that it gives you is your starting number when you mix your nutes. "I'll sneak a bottle in with the pool water if I ever get that checked. Lol" - Yeh, that would raise some eyebrows ("You...
