I agree. My earlier post was an attempt at sarcasm. Apparently it wasn't well received by everyone.

So after reading most of the flushing posts I now understand that if I flush I'm going to have hermies with skimpy buds that have lost most of their flavor and potency. If I don't flush I'm going to have nasty black ash, buds that won't burn and my lungs will be fried. Did I miss anything?

Very similar situation to yours a couple years ago. But I got hooked up with a couple experienced growers. I could put you in touch with a guy who has done a few large scale commercial grows. He designs them ground up.

I agree with Roger on this one. Usually 7-14 days in pre-flower before the countdown starts. If seed companies added this it would make the advertised flower time longer. Shorter flower = more sales.
