I just chopped all my outdoor Maui Wowee (3) trees. Started them indoors Feb. - March put them in the ground end of May. I did harvested (4) plants indoors like in August, switched them to 14 hours dark, low stress trained to reduce height, and about 9-10 weeks flower, good solid colas, dried...

I chopped the remainder of my (3) outdoors in ground Maui Wowee trees today, about 2 - 3 weeks early. They were freakin gorgeous in August, and me with visions of pineapple sized colas forming in my head...... then September came, and Florence, and so did the outdoors in NE issues. So before...

I have chopped one tree as I found a few smallish buds with rot / mold and pistils looking too dark. Any leaf near these buds that was clearly black and dead got discarded as with any surrounding buds. Almost all bad were smallish buds and underneath branches. I think I have removed everything...

Sorry for your loss. Sucks. Hope you can salvage something. I am trying to make the best possible drying as many good branches and saving sugar leaves. Florence surely diminished my outlook on in ground growing in the North East. Not sure what I'll do next year.

Not sure anything would work with more freaking rain coming down now :( I chopped one of my trees in total that was most affected with bud rot / mold before it got too bad yesterday and this morning. Drying the good bud / branches now. Still 2 trees remaining, but those may need to come down...

That what I just did. Removed maybe 2 - 3 branches I found bud rot, and another 4 -5 lower branches surrounding the affected areas. Most the rot was on smaller interior buds where there would be more moisture. I cut away any bud with rot and any buds near the rot, trimmed the remaining 'good...

This is my first outdoor grow in ground so .... you vets seem to chop early often .... I have always chopped my indoors plants all at once based on scheduled flower time, color, bud density, root bound, trichs etc. Now I need to partially chop due to weather causing bud rot and mold. I really...

Should i chop each of these infected lower branches to protect the overall health of the tree, especiall some gorgeous top colas, or watch and...

Lost a good sized branch this morning .... too much weight with the rain and the buds.... hoping the duct tape sling will get her limb to the finish line.

My practice indoors has been no nutrients for 3 weeks before expected harvest, water only with some added molasses, then when you are confident of harvest 48 hours dark, and at least 3 days without water. For outdoors I don't know what the process is any experienced guys help out here?

My also newbie educated guess is that it has as much to do with roots being bound in the pots initiating the flower cycle sooner than later. My in ground plants have great veg, and great buds, but not sure the buds are going to finish as strong as they could with all the moisture coming. Again...

I got (3) Maui Wowee plants that are 9+ feet tall, about 20' diameter, and 5+ weeks into flower. All colas look strong, plants are healthy, a few bug issues ( bud worms) but I think a few sprays of Bt have helped. A little worried about upcoming rains,I just need a few more weeks, please...
