Hey everybody how’s it going? I’m halfway through flower and looking for advice on my runt of a plant. Here’s my purple punch grown in 5gal roots organic. I’m using advanced nutrients Sensi line. I think I may have overwatered after transplanting. I was hoping she would open up during her stretch. No such luck. I’m wondering if lollipoping would be the way to finish or at this point just let it finish as is?

Your plant looks fine. I would just let it ride.
You could pluck it, but it may just stunt further bud growth in favor of leaf

Lollipopping is best done at the beginning stages of flower. There’s really no benefit to do it at this point. It’s usually done to help the plant limit energy expenditure, and focus on a few key bud sites. You’re well past that point right now. Just keep her healthy as possible and she’ll finish up. The plant doesn’t look bad at all.

The stretch and subsequent filling out of the bud sites is often strain or even pheno dependent. Some strains will turn those flower sites into stacked buds, and some will give you chunky little golf-balls that hardly stack. It’s hard to predict until you’ve grown that specific pheno out and know how it behaves, so that you can maximize its potential the next time. Unfortunately, you really just have to keep a clone and run the plant a couple times to learn all her tendencies.

It’s also pretty common to find that plants from the same seed pack and parents can behave radically different. It’s the main reason many of us hunt for desirable phenos - to be able to save and grow what we like most.

Good work! Let it ride. In the future I would train earlier and take good notes. Good luck on your harvest.
