As said in title, been about 4 days since i popped the seeds in water, they r all 1/2" to 1 1/2" tall and in root riot cubes about 6" from 2 T5 bulbs.

2 questions:

1) Can i give them anything to help them grow/root? Like H&G Root Excelurator? or some Superthrive? Would this help or hurt?

2) Is 5-6" from 2 t5's too much light? currently they are getting 24hr of light with temps between 78 and 82 degrees.

They need virtually nothing whatsoever, but should be put into a quality soil\less media, which would better be able to provide anything they did happen to need. These rooting plugs aren't really ideal for Cannabis seeds, but are good for clones. Whatever you start seeds in should be at least about 4" tall. If you were to lift your tray up, you should see the taproot has already poked through.

Also, you can put a T5 fixture within a couple inches of the seedlings. Keep a fan keep it on low, oscillating (not blowing directly on the seedlings).

ya u are totally right. Pulled one up and the tap root was like 4 inches out of the cube. So im replanting them in some solo cups with FF ocean forest. I also have some heavy 16 root accelerator, should i wait for them to get used to the soil? or can i water them in with the root accelerator?

You can literally feed a seedling water until it has its first true leaves! Might get some yellowing but they will bounce right back with your first feeding @ 1/2 strength veg nutes!

I second that, Nullus is the man

Thanks so much for the advise Nullis, you were right on they were in desperate need of some dirt to play in. I have never grown from seed and never expected the roots would be that large that quickly. I am used to clones where you are lucky if they have rooted out of the cubes in a week or so. They are very happy and healthy, all 5 seedlings have grown their real leaves and seem to be loving the FFOF. Some slight stretching by the littler ones but thats natural as they cant be as close to the light (all in same height cups).

Be careful with using FFOF with seeds ocean forest is a hot soil I would use happy frog with light warrior.

I've heard this as well, but I recently started my blueberry directly in some FF ocean forest and shes doing great. About 40 days in now ;) looking fine.

ive put rooted clones directly into OF like 20 times without issue i guess i have genetics that like the nutes. Was worried the seedlings may burn, but no issues, all r bright green and happy making their first real leaves
