10 Unknown Soldiers 3 1/2 weeks flowering

I had a grow journal under "grow journals", but just as I always do, when it gets about 1/2 way through flower I start a new thread as it's more interesting now.

I picked up 10 clones from the local dispensary and now they are 3 1/2 weeks into flowering. They claimed that 6 were OG Kush (bullshit) and the other 4 didn't have any idea what they were.

A little background for those that aren't familiar with my growing style...I've gone to growing smaller plants (vegging as little as 6 days) and this time I vegged for 3 weeks.

The plants had problems straight away so I lost about a week and I consider it to be about a 2 week veg in reality.

Oh yeah, these are flowering under 2 400w HPS lights.

So here they are 3 1/2 weeks into flowering...

Thanks...yeah, the yellow one always does that! I don't know what the story is with that. I always grow the same way and I always get the yellow topped nug.

I'm hoping for good things with these. The more indica looking strain is doing good work on gettin' frosty already and the others aren't too far behind it. I got a little concerned when I saw the buds were getting bigger, but I wasn't seeing any frostyness and just this week it's really started kickin' in.

HAd some heat problems for about a week and the edges got a litttle nute burn so now they look like that. They are growin' buds just fine though.

As requested....4 weeks down...look like a good 5-6 weeks left...

trichs comin' in this last week...looking sweet now.

I do wish I didn't have that freakin' heat problem a couple of weeks back, really got the tips and my tallest plants all burned up. I was riding the edge of nute burn as well and together they just look like shit, but the buds are beautiful and I'm ultimately growin' buds, not plants. I'm just a bit of a perfectionist. I knew it would be a challenge with 2 400w lights in a bedroom closet.

My setup is dialed now, so the next batch definitely won't have to go looking like that.

leaves need to curl down unless they really dont have any affect on the buds.

im just wondering cause i was thinkin bout doin it and I dont know if i should or not?

The plants flower for a specific amount of time. There is a perfect time to harvest. You don't get to "make it up". When the buds are ready, they are ready, beyond that they only degrade.

The leaves curling doesn't bother me, I know what's caused it and the damage is done. I've lower my ppm a bit to back off the nutes and I've lowered the temps significantly, the leaves are just "crispy tipped" now on some of the top nugs.

The buds are growing nicely and they planst while I'm sure are adverseley affected by not having as much healthy leaf tissue, aren't suffering that much. I should have avoided this problem, but nothing to do about it now.

First time running the dual lights in this closet setup. First time with all of this particular equipment.

Next batch will be better. Fortunately this was a quick grow and I'm 1/2 through flower already. I'm sure I'll get plenty to smoke while I get the next one going.

dam man looking fuking nice ...... i am getting ready to go into week three .....but its hard to believe they will look like that in two weeks ??? ....how long did it take tell you saw the nugs start forming .......i heard week three is when everything stops growing and starts pushing to form nugs but ... its crazy looking at yours then mine and its only two weeks diff........loooking sick thoe man

Have faith, it gets exciting from where you are. They will stop stretching and start growing buds. It's hard to believe this was 2 weeks ago....

wow huge difference in 2 weeks. Looking great man. I wish I was still able to use my hps. I can't at the moment were I'm living temporally for about the next 6 months.
