100W CFL Veg?

How many plants could be veg'd under 100W worth of CFL?

Think it's possible to do 8 plants under 100W of CFL just for veg, 24hours on?

Only want to veg them to 1.5' at the most.

is that true watt or eqivilants-but ive read that vegging 24 hrs isnt the best idea i vegged 18/6 and i've had great results

230w of actual cfl watts for 1 plant.

If you're talking about using one 100w equivalent bulb, no way, that's only going to be like 1500 lumens or something. A cfl that uses 100w might be barely enough bc it would be about 5000-6000 lumens.

It is better to look at lumens rather than watts. I have heard you need a minimum of 3000 lumens per sq ft of growing space, but 10,000 lumens is like the sun's output on a summer day. That is why i have almost 15,000 lumens focused on one plant.

But I am obviously not an expert as it's my first real grow attempt.
