I want to make a Top-of-the-line grow with all the fixings. I have a 400w hps that i could get a MH conversion bulb for veg or i can just add some t-5s to my existing 2 fleuros. So whats more efficient 3-4x 600w HPS or 2x 1000w HPS? and whats best for a 12x12 room that will be running a coco- hydro system.
So this will be my 3rd grow(indoors) i'm not great and i've only used FF nutes and soil in the past but i pulled a little over an oz off my previous girls. Also can i use Advanced Nutrients with coco or no? sorry if thats a dumb question thanks people
+rep for any descent info

I would go with the 600's. 600 watters are the most efficient on energy consumption, and all the parts cost less too.

If you stick with the T5's for veg, you could do two 600 watters on lightrails and get the yield of two static 1000 watters I bet. Plus you'll have a lower energy bill and heat won't be half as much of an issue.

thanks man are lightrails the same as light movers i would prefer not to use them for a couple reasons
1. i want the lights to run during the day only
2 they r going to be aircooled i dont know if its possible to use lightmovers with all the ventilation
3 if 1 of my 2 lights breaks im fucked but if 1 of my 4 breaks i can maintain

so if lightrails does mean light movers i need 2400w and since im against lightmovers 4 600w aircooled:blsmoke:

ALSO -STRAIN IDEAS????
I NEED GREAT SMOKE, BUT I NEED A WORKHORSE STRAIN THAT WILL BREAK ITS BACK TO GIVE ME A GREAT YIELD.

ALSO 2400W with c02, temp control and the best nutes which i need help deciding....EXPECTED YIELD??:joint::hump:

check out Advanced Nutrients man. Lots of pounds and a nute calculator on their site for all types of grow mediums. Their packaging also has a lot of specific instructions on how to grow the buds you want.

and they've worked for me. not sure what the exact poundage has been since i've been away from growing lately, but i know my friends have talked about pounds at the end of their harvest

i'm not partial to any strains, still working with my nutes...

start with some base AN nutes and then add on things like Big Bud to help bulk up your grow

sounds like you're heading in a great direction tho - can't wait to see what happens at harvset for you
