16oz party cup journal

Hey how's it growing?
I just wanted to start a journal to look back on my 16oz party cup grow, theses are the 3 I entered in the comp and just wanna see how they grow through time.

I'm doing an all Miricle Grow grow, I have M.G. veg and flower nutes and M.G. slow release soil (first and last time for the soil) and perlite.

Using 2 daylight cfl's for veg and a 400 watt hps for flower.

The strains are 1 Green Elfy and 2 Orange Mass.

GERMINATION:
I soaked the seeds in a cup of water on top of my fridge with a plate over the top, to keep the light out and on the fridge because it keeps the water warm up there. Seed sprouted in about 12 hours.
I first flushed the soil I was going to use, because I knew it would be to high in nutes for the little seedlings. Put in a cup that was layered with soil and perlite.

Started off the seeds at 20/4 under 2 daylight cfl's (the big ones)
I started my first one "Green Elfy" on Christmas Eve. I went to my parents for Christmas and boxing day, so I put the cfl kinda high so it wouldn't grow into the light while I was gone. So it streched a little.
I came home and germed 2 Orange Mass the exact same method. They are about 4-5 days apart from the Green Elfy.

Around 2 weeks I think? See, this is why I gotta write this shit down, can't f'ing remember shit.

These were taken today on Jan. 13th, we'll call this 3 weeks, I topped one of the Orange Mass yesterday, I was gonna do all lst, but I think I'm gonna lollipop the Green Elfy and top and possible lst 1 Orange Mass and might just keep the other O.M. as a mother? Haven't decided yet, the other O.M. is really really low and bushy, could be a very good mom.
I also moved the Green Elfy into the flower room, with the 400 hps last night as well.

I decided to lst the Green Elfy today, topped and lst, like first planed

Jan. 15th
Had Green Elfy in the 12/12 room for a couple days and just moved the 2 O.M. (Orange Mass) in there today.
The Green Elfy is topped and lst'd, the 1st O.M. is topped andthe 2nd I'm not doing anything to. Might use that one as a mom, not sure yet.

Well..........I dunn fucked up...........I broke the G.E. in pretty well half. Was lsting it and she snapped on me, this never happened to me before. It broke off right on top of the 2nd node, so I cut the strings and now is gonna just be topped instead of lsting it all the was around the cup an making a spirel.

This is how I've abused my plants so far:
-heat stress them almost every morning, I have to open the closet door every morning when the light turns on, too hot with the door closed
-Green Elfy got burnt on the bottem leafs by bulb
-Green Elfy got snapped in half while lsting, but now know why. I tried to super crop the main stem and forgot that and when tightening the lst's the softened stem snapped.

well here's my 2 16oz party cup comp enteries, almost 4 weeks think, the Green Elfy would have been alot bigger if I hadn't have broke her in 2.

WoW, dude. I'm definitely LOViNG how that OM is looking! I am limited on height with my grow space, but have plenty of room horrizontally. I am currently just LSTing, which is looking great! But if I could get a plant to look like that OM and THEN LST it. That would be PRIME! haha, so did you just top it? And that's it?

Yea man, just topp'd it, O.M. grows a pretty bushy plant, and takes to topping really well. I usually top just above the 3rd node. Glad you like the grow.
I will prolly be lsting her in a little bit. Kinda scared now though after the G.E. accident lol, but that was my fault, forgot I super cropped the main stem and couldn't take the presure of lsting.

Lil Party cups is killin me. Im in next time, if there is a next time. I love that O.M. Plant. Shes real nice.

Today is Jan. 21st and is just about 5 weeks and 1 week into flower.
haven't gave 'em any nutes yet cause of the MG soil, some yellowing of the bottem leafs, will give nutes next week or if the yellowing get worse, will feed accordingly.

there still alive and looking gd,i wanna see an end result =)
