I’m building a 16 x 16 grow room. I already have an idea how I’m going to set the room up but would like some suggestions on what others think.

1. How much lights
2. What brand of lights
3. What size a/c
4. What size dehumidifier
5. Co2
6. And what’s the best automated temperature control
7. And last but not least what would be your goal yield in a room this size

lighting is an option for now

This will eat up most of your budget. Lets say wou went with 16 scorpion rspecs

You're looking at around $19 thousand for those retail price

Have you grown cannabis before? And on what scale if so?

Yes I have I’ve grown for 13 years and I did 10x10 before but mainly a outdoor grower. And in a 16x16 room ain’t no way it require 16 lights

1. You want 40w+ per square foot of high quality LED. Maybe even up to 50W because you are running CO2.

2. Whatever fits your budget don't get anything under 2.6umol/J. Floraflex has a new light that's $650.LEDs are getting cheaper at an alarming rate so you almost can't go wrong whatever you can afford.

3. You would need a minimum 60,000 btu and I'd consider bigger even. (Lights alone will be 46,000btu at 50w/sqft)

4. Something in the 165-200pint per day range. This depends a lot on your growing style.

5. For that size grow CO2 burners might be more efficient. But bottles are still doable. Titan controls has a dual tank setup that I think would probably be good so you can run most of the cycle with no bottle change. Otherwise I'd run a burner. But this will add heat and humidity to the grow so you have to account for that.

6. A good AC will control its temps on its own just fine. If you meant grow room controller I personally use Trolmaster. But after installing a couple of them and using for a while I feel like they can do better but most controllers aren't very impressive in general. For that size room probably worth a controller just for the light control alone never mind the other features.

7. Depends on how good of a grower you are. Extrapolate your yields for a 16x16 space by multiplying your 10x10 yields by 2.56.

One of what guys? I’m just saying 16 lights in a 16x16 isn’t right. You going base off of a 4x4 footprint for lights but also isn’t factoring the walk way space etc but thanks for your “suggestion”
it's more efficient to light a room. Rather than light rows. But whatever works for your growing style.

Use rolling tables. And your walks ways are just temporary for getting in and out. It makes growing large amounts a lot more doable

Thanks for your detail response
I’m in the tropics so 5-6 tons AC Is definitely what I’m going to get. I’m also thinking on running gavita lights but still in the fence on what exact lights I’m to use. However I’ll like to pay around 750 on the high end for the lights I chose to get. Btw I was watching your grow this morning good luck

I’m going to be in living soil/notill so pots will be stuck in permanent position more than likely I’ll have all 20 gallons or 4x4 beds or maybe a custom bed to the room size
