1st attempt cloning, not having much success...

Hello everyone.

I am having a bit of a problem so far with my cloning process. This is my first attempt at cloning and so far they keep dying/drying out.

I have a dome and a heat mat and am using oasis cubes which seem to dry out awfully fast and my clones fall over.

I am not supposed to let the oasis cube get dry right? I would have to water this thing constantly it seems.. Maybe I'm not getting the right humidity in my dome? What could be going on?

I had my lights about 12" or so but have just lowered them to around " above the dome. I am also using rooting power and making my cuts at 45 degree angle and scraping off a little skin on the bottom of the clone...Any thoughts or ideas??

make sure they get misted often, dont let the cubes dry out, high humidity is CRUCIAL

I would try it without the heat man, i take clones every week with 100% rooting. The heat is what is most likely drying out your cubes, and keep misting 3-4 times a day helps. I can see the roots spread after every spray, so that is pretty cool lol

Thanks guys. I will try to keep em moist and try without the heat mat if I can't get it going.
