1st grow. Outdoors in New Zealand. She has just started throwing pistils. Got her about 10cm high. She's a clone. Dunno what strain but obviously quite sativary. Just wondering if there's anything I should do to increase yield. And could anyone give me a estimate of yield if leave her as is.

At this point in the game there is not a lot you can do to improve yield, other than just keep watering and fertilizing.

If you could have cleared more brush around it and dug out a half meter hole and then filled it in with amended soil, you would have been better off. Since it is already flowering, I'm not sure what you could do to improve it in anyway.

Keep watering and fertilizing and you'll get something. Just my guess but I'd think nothing much over an oz, unless it is real sativish and takes three months to flower.

I dug it a big hole and put the soil of my choice in. I couldn't really clear much more undergrowth as I didn't want it to be to noticeable. Your saying I wouldn't get anymore thana oz of this plant? Its over 4 foot tall aand I haven't noticed a flowering stretch yet so it'd gonna be quite big. I was expecting at least 6 oz haha

Why would you expect 6 oz when you have never done this before? You surely aren't getting 6 off of that. Good luck. Better planning next round

My bad it looked like just native dirt, couldn't really tell though from picture. I believe the height is just due to the plant stretching to get above the surrounding vegetation. The plant is not steady enough to produce much more, that stalk would snap with a fat nug on top. Only time will tell.

I have seen a few plants been growing before. Alot littler than this and have good about 3 oz each outdoors. Your could be right tho as you probably have the experience!

I don't think it'd need to stretch to get above the surrounding plants, you may not be able to tell from the photo but it gets a good amount of sunlight a day. You are right about the stalks tho, I can support the branches and it'll help tho right?

Here's a different photo. The branches are real skinny and will need support. I was thinking about tieing the lower branches down and just wrapping some string around the top to hold it all together? That 3 litre milk container is about a foot high so yeah its quite tall.

Like everyone said, keep her fed, support your weak branches, maybe w/ a cage. Keep the bugs away from her and you'll get some good stuff. Not quite a pound, but take some cuttings and veg them for a while and LST them. You'll do much better next time.

god she looks beautiful, i can see her producing an easy 6 maybe more (hopefully)
Yeah i want 6 minimum...but for me its about quality.

And trent if your down to the last few weeks b4 flower its best prob just to leave her be and start earlier next season ?

sometime the thin streched plants are from stress. try some neem on the underside of the leaves to make sure you dont have mites. get some bat guano on the top of the soil you should be ok if you do it soon

So after taking everyone's advice I decided to go against it all and doing some LST and super cropping hahahaha. The plant now looks like this. Have supported most braches with plant ties as well. I understand I might've made the wrong decision but there's only one way to learn I guess haha.

Looks like you stomped on it then tied it back to the stake. Next time try the supercropping and LST at different times (ie supercrop "few" branches first) then LST or LST some branches down and supercrop if you still need. Good luck with it anyway. Hope it pulls through
