EDIT: I should add it will be a all in one grow cab. Mother/Clone/Veg/flower & dry when not being used to grow

I was planning on building a dedicated room in my basement that could double as a over sized storage closet in it's off season.

It took only 3 hours of researching some great cabs here to realize this is the route for me.

  • I have all the tools to build a great looking box.
  • I love projects that keep me focused and busy.
  • I am somewhat handy and a huge do-it-your-seflfer.
  • And I can always say it's a tool box if any nosey people that should not be in my house to begin with ask . I do love tools

I have the idea drawn in my head that will be eventually laid on paper. I just need to know what size to go.

First question. Anyone think DWC buckets (hydro) can be adapted to a cab not to big. I want to have no more then 3 plants/strain for different mood preferences. I am not looking to have to water plants all the time..I like my free time when I have it . I just want them to grow fast and healthy with a good yield for the size of the box. Anyone doing this?

Also are you cab growers also using the flowering section to dry (lights off of course). Of course this would have to be done before you move you new clones in from veg?

So I welcome all ideas and thank you in advance!

It's totally possible to grow DWC style in a cab.
I have a section in mine dedicated to curing and storage and can't wait to fill it for the first time.
