1st grow good, 2nd grow... really really bad

More of a rant than asking a question, didn't know where to post this.

1st grow was bagseed as a learning experience. It was a great teaching experience and I pulled about 6 zips dry off of 2 and a half trees. Not bad...

2nd grow I bought genetics that I thought were good.

10 Blueberry and 10 NL x C99 hybrid. Only 5 BB's popped and 4 lived. Only one grew normally the others very stunted and weak. I was really looking forward to this strain and I knew it wasn't a beginers strain but I grew it anyways. 3 so far are showing female, yippie.

9 of the C99's popped and grew just great. All plants looked awesome. Now after more than a month of vegging and a week flowering I come to find out 8 out of the 9 growing are males... CHOPPED.

Now all I have is 1 NL x C99 and 1 average and 3 stunted BB's. Just fucking great. I can't blame the breeder for the M to F ratio but damn it the BB's didn't help out either. I'll never use cheap genetics again and until I have a seperate veg and flower room to clone plants I'll just have to use feminised seeds.



Any words of encouragement would be nice. I don't even feel like wasting the electricity/nutes/time/energy finishing this crappy grow.

I'll be trying femmed WW and if I can find some AK-47's that are not $200 for 10 seeds(serious I'am looking at you) I'll grow that.

sorry about that, Do you happen to take clones before u set? I decided to try a new strain with my 1st run (pics soon to follow), I know what your thinking why try a new strain when the kush's you were trained on work so well? Well that's another story, anyways I planted 5, 4 survived of which one was male. Well i cut 5 clones for all of them before I set them. So when i saw the male he died a quick death, but now i have clones.... confirmed male for crossing...... sweet. if u like the plants u have and no male pollen, try to get one to hermie out and make some feminized seeds. Depends on how bad it does that rather or not u can smoke the buds. Its a one time loss for a big return. I have a sky walker strain that if it gets even a little light it throws up a seed or two, maybe 10- 12 an oz of which 3-4 will be good.
