My first grow just thought i would makek a journal.
3 plants, all bagseed in 6 inch pots, all in MG .21-.07-.14
been about 2 weeks since the transfer into these pots. They have been under 2 32 watt 6500K flouros 18/6. watering has been like once a week about i wait till they get dry.
first plant sprouted long before the others and my light wasnt ready yet. . so the weak early march sunlight stretched it out. the other two i got right under the light and are looking very good. The stretched plant looks good and seems to be adapting well i just worry about later on.
i have a fan oscilating and a homemade c02 generator. The closet stays between 70-80 degrees closer usually to the 80's and if my hydrometer is correct its 50-60% humidity. I plan on building a box to hold it all. but i wanted to start this journal so i could get imput from everyone.
how long are these 2 32W tubes going to be enough?. .. because they seem to be working great about 6 inches from the tops.
i would like tot get a 4 bank t12 or t5 setup but should i even spend the money? or go for a low watt mh or hps?
Is there a way to keep the plants small and bushy so i dont have to build a huge box. . or does it depend on the strain?
i have many many questions and i know the people here have the answers. Im pretty excited about starting this and look forward to sharing it here. peace.
