1st time flowering...4 weeks in....opinions apprecieted

hi guys

please take alook at my pictures.....they are 4 weeks into flowering ...i have 4 plants...the 1st 3weeks of flowering they were outside in a shed but i have just got them inside since tuesday (thank god!!! seeing as its now snowing outside!!!)...i have fed them twice this week....with a mix of bloom feed and also a dash of veg nute as well to give them a boost......

how long do i leave them to flower for? another 4 weeks perhaps....havnt got a clue.

also they seem to be flowering on the top but at the bottom of the plants there is nothing and the big leaves seem to be yellowing....

shall i leave the big leafs on? or take em off?

That looks like a phosphorus deficiency to me.

Hopefully some others will chime in.

it also looks to be low on Nitrogen. Some people like to add no (or very little) N during flowering, and as such yellowing and some leaf loss from N def is predicted. Others keep them somewhat greener with some N during flowering.

What light are you using? it doesn't look like the bottom is getting that great of light which would account the lack of development. You can always trim the lower parts a bit so the energy is more focused on the major top buds. Again this is an area of debate, some say keep all leaves until they drop naturally, others trim everything but the top cola. No real wrong answer has been definitively proven.


Either way looks like a nice plant. How long did you veg for?

Are those pots small ?

i actaully vegged for about 7 weeks...which i have now been told is too long....like i said its my first time grow so i am impressed with what i have got so far!! lol

does anyone have any idea how much i should get off each plant?

re: pot size.....they are quite large pots to be truthful!!!

re: light...i am using a 250w 'orange' light ( dont know the correct termanology...but its the right one for flowering)!!!

IMO i would give it some nitrogen / phosphate nutes ASAP
your plant has slowed its flowering to combat its leaf issues think about it

Nitrogen def all the way. What brand nutes are u using and at what strength? ? And canopy temps?... since u said something bout snow. Pick up the book Marijuana garden saver it is great!!!.. it solves all my def probs everytime. As long it is no ph lockout
