Hydro vs. Dirt. which is best. I have Hindu Kush and D.Poison. Started as hydro but now haveing problems...What to do??? Move to dirt quick. Only been 3 weeks...

You will probably lose half the plants trying to move from hydro to soil since they are already in bad shape. What type of hydro system and what kind of problems? You should try to keep it simple.

if you give up on hydro that easy you will never master the funk.

dont move to dirt to escape problems with hydro. frying pan to fire place. stick with your hydro and explain your problems. sure itll be cool. viva!

I brought in a friend, PH good.. neturiens good. flow rate good... temp 78
ventlation good... water temp 76

Lighting..??? thinks it is to low... now at 36 inch Off floor.. Plants 3 weeks old, from seeds...
Leaves are dropping.. lower and lower... Have 6 sets leaves on top of all plants.. leaves lighter green than the very tops..

I had moved my light down to 24 inches past 24 hours...
Running 600 MHL 18 hrs .. off 6 hours,,

Have airator running 24 hrs...

They are looking poor.....

thought dirt was a way to save 3 weeks pof work..
Trying to end up with 2 mamas .. D. posion and H. Kush.. at least.

At 3 weeks, where should the 600 MHL be above... in height.. to start .

ive never used mh lights myself so not too sure, but i guess about 12-14 inches above the tops of the plants should be good, same as hps.
what is your ph level? should be about 6.5 in soil, but slightly less in hydro. check this site; International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums - The Complete guide to Sick Plants,pH, and Pest troubles! for any worries you have with problems... good luck man!
