I have a walk-in closet grow with a 1000 HPS with 6 plants. It's all organic. Organic nutrition every other water, gotta be high in nitrates in veg for growth and the high in potassium during flowering time.

I'm currently on a 12/12lighting cycle. I also have 1 tall filter fan on the highest it goes.

The Temps in my closet When my lights are on is about 80 and when there off it drop down to 65 degrees.

When my light come on i will be Sharing a few pictures, let me know how there looking I would appreciate it.

I forgot To mention I have 2 clones that got spider mites on it. Just recently sprayed them 2 weeks ago.


I have 2 purple strains and 2 medical strains.

1000 HPS is the best way IMO. It's already 10 days into flowering and it's already starting to flower :)

That pic was when it was in veg. Now it's perfectly fine. Just a bit of a mite problem but I got it handled. Just sprayed yesterday.

I had a question also, my Branches on my plants are turning purple but she looks healthy ;) is that bad or good? The stem is purple too..?

You CAN be fine, but I noticed a big difference with running MH in veg. They don't seem to stretch as much and I am getting A LOT more branches. Just my personal experience. I'm not doggin' on HPS, just suggesting MH for veg as others do :)

Agreed. 1000w HPS for flowering for sure!

Given that I just got a 600 watt apollo for less than 30.00... I am going that route instead of the ushio hps I have for flowering. CFL's are good if you have one or two plants.. but trying to reposition 12 lights every day is not easy and the MH will have the coverage and penetration that cfls don't have.

thanks for the reply IMCHUCKY666, the only reason i i have them away from my 2 bigger plants is because i received the stretchy ones them with mites on them and have been spraying ever since. I dont want my healthy ones getting infested you know cause i spotted eggs on one of them and got me worried.
