2 questions bout mites?

1 what do the eggs look like? are they the clearish little balls?

2 whats the best way to see these little f'ers, what do you use? I got a radio shack 60-100x scope but its so small of an area it hard to use.

if you hold them under your light and it looks like lice on the underside thats the eggs

yea! they are usually clear/whitish/milky color!! neem oil is bout the best

I personally dont need a loop to see them or their eggs. Pick off a leaf and hold it close to your grow light. The might will react to the heat of the bulb and move around. The eggs, like someone already mentioned, look like mice. I used floramite and it destroyed them with 1 application. Other than that, I tried everything and failed. They are very dangerous so be sure to deal with them. They can take over a garden quickly. My experience is with floramite and for sure it works. I have heard good things about Avid, as well. What stage in your grow are you at????

Neem oil works, but be careful not to go overboard with it, and to rinse the leaves really well with clean water the next day.

I used aza max and had good results one app first then next after a week

Good luck, they are tough to kill. What ever you use treat three times as you can kill the mites but not the eggs. If you have a small grow room the hot shot pest strips work well.
