2 week old seedlings drooping leaves and some leaves are getting crispy dry

Hi guys i have a few plants that are feeling sick i have had them under 250 watt blue cfl but after successful germination in root riot then into small pots with bio bizz light mix soil, last night the plants become droopy and some leaves are getting crispy dry, have these plants died or can i revive them? i have switched them to 18/6 now from 24/0 to give them rest also have removed most of the soil on all plants so the roots get air, and sprayed the leaves with water, room humidity is 56% at moment thought i'd give them a bit of drought as i suspect OVER WATER, am i right at what action i am taking or is it the end of life for my bitches?


please guys i need help before they totally go.:cry:

hard to say if it will survive without a pic of the plant, but sounds like you have a good idea of the problem, remember less is more, hope they bounce back

Your instinct is right - too much H2O - let it get dry between waterings - dry, I say!

If there's dry crispy leafs it's not over watering. You said you feed them? Pics would help. I would check the history of ppl before you listen to them. Like Jack here he's a newbie giving advice and don't know what the Fuck he's talking about. He says over watering but you have crispy leafs and just transplanted doubtful. I would cover your roots back up definitely no since in leaving them exposed .

You cant be serious? you have taken all the soil fron the rootsystem? Yes they are dead, if you want to aerate the soil use perlite. The original problem was transplant shock in hot soil and make sure the light is about 3 feet away from the seedlings.
So at first they were shocked now(after the soil removal) they are petrified.

Budds n rake are right, I assumed u ment you transplanted back into a smaller pot, if u dug It out to expose the roots, that's not good...

If there's dry crispy leaves it's not overwatering, you say? Is that right? Nope. Mate, you don't know what you're talking about, and you're breaking your own 'rule' about not advising people on things you don't know about. Naughty.

Take a look here and maybe learn something - crispy leaves is one symptom of overwatering - and it always has been.....if only you knew.
