Ladies and Gents, I welcome you to my garden. First things first, a little about myself. I'm a new resident of California and I'm a beginner grower. I have read hundreds of books, done plenty of research, and I've followed many grow journals. I finally get the opportunity to start my own journal and share it with you guys. Enough small talk, lets get to the goods! Here is what im bringing to the table:

10 Heavy Duty Fruity Seeds in Ebb and Grow
2 Girl Scout Cookie Bag Seeds in Ebb and Grow
1 Blue Dream Mother (Soon to be cloned) in Soil
1 Church Mother ( " ) in Soil
1400w MH Veg
X Nutrient Line - Grow, Micro, and Bloom
Room Temp set at 74 F and 20-30% Humidity
Water temp is 70 F
I keep my ph around 5.8-6.0
I use superthrive, root excelurator, drip clean, and bud candy (flowering only)

So to start it all off, I germinated my seeds in a paper towel for a few days then moved them into Rockwool Cubes. After a few more days i got some healthy sprouts so i moved them into the Ebb and Grow system. Also i got a couple mother plants from a friend to throw in the veg room too. Just in case i get a lot of males, I've got a backup plan. Here are some visuals so you can get familiar with my set up. Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any suggestions or questions, SHOOT! Peace

Man, have things been growing like crazy. I started feeding the HDF and GSC and they exploded!! I started out with 5ml per gal of X-Nutrient's Grow and Micro. Also added a couple ml of Root Excelurator and Superthrive for a total PPM of 700. I checked the roots of some of these babies, and theyre phenomenal. I saw a few signs of nutrient burn so I back off a little bit for the second feeding. Now were about 26 days in for those plants.

Also, I was able to get my cloning done today. I carefully chose my clones to cut to the size i wanted so my canopy is fairly even. Also i cut each clone right below a node or two so they will root faster (a little trick i heard). After soaking my rockwool cubes in 300ppm water for a few hours they should be ready to go. I cut my clones off the Blue Dream and Church mothers, dip them into the powder rooting agent, and off they go into the cubes ready for root growth. Im going to keep my dome at about 72F and 60% Humidity. I think that should be fine. So now when these babies root, im going to place them in some 3-4 gal pots with a Coco/Perlite mix. I got one of the Coco bricks that comes prebuffered with cal/mag. An important step when using Coco is to Flush all the salts and regulate the ph before planting. So i took the brick and placed it in a 35 Gal Trash Can and added nearly 10 Gal of water. The brick expanded to nearly 25 gal of Coco Medium. Then, i filled up some buckets to get ready for flushing. I use drip clean to remove the salts from my medium. This is something i will do bi-weekly or even weekly depending on the amount of salt build up. Now i'm all set and waiting for the roots to grab hold and off they will go. Thanks for checking in and let me know what you guys think. Oh yeah and here is a video tour of my garden
