No it won't work dude not 24/24. The reason you switch to 12/12 is your tricking the plant into thinking fall is coming since there is less light at the end of summer and fall than there is in the spring.
The argument is commonly made that the plants don't have a concept of time, its a human made element. They only have concept of light and dark. I know people who have done 16/16 and it worked about the same as a 12/12 would've(not much more production) and it increased his flowering time by a few weeks.
The reason people use 12/12 is because unless you get an expensive timer, they only run on 24 hour days
So all in all, you CAN at LEAST do 16/16 if you wanna do the lights manually or get an electronic timer that you can set up a week at a time. But theres no real change in quality or quantity, just a longer wait.
My best friend uses a 11/13 schedule and has been for years, he swears by it and never has to grown more than 100 days from seed. he gets anywhere from 2-6 ounces per plant depending on pot size.
