I'm gone tell u something from pure experience. Bro I have been growing for almost 3 yrs using the veg light for 24 hours of continous light. I did an experiment with all my strains on 18/6 light. All my plants grew an extra 2 to 5 inches more a week. I'm not a botanist but the only thing I can figure is your plants spend all day building energy from the sun. Well I personally believe your plants need a period of not getting light so they can use up all the stored up energy from the light they received earlier. I know u will see different opinions all over the net. But this isn't opinion its a fact. I have discussed this with my wife over and over and she believe the same as I do since she has seen the same results as i have strain after strain. My wife mother is a botanist and herbologist and she said all plants need a period of rest to expel built up energy. That's the way it is in mother nature so why think u can out do her. All I can say is try it for yourself and you will see. It also makes a ton of difference with the transition from veg to flower. My plants street flowering like a week earlier. All I can say is try it before you knock. Everyone wants an extra 2 to 5 inches of extra veg growth a week at least I know I do
