Hello Fellow Enthusiasts; Sometimes GREAT DISCOVERIES come by way of accident!, case in point. Been VERY interested in the making of bubble hash. Soooooooo today was the first attempt. Did my due diligence & exhaustive search, garnered insight & experiences from the "Pros" (?!) here's what I learned and improved upon.
Firstly, I mixed the batch in a 5 gallon white plastic bucket in my DEEP stainless steel kitchen sink, I put a stopper in the drain, placed bucket in middle of sink with my 1 gallon bag full of "Prime" trimmings, between layers of large cube ice, filled bucket with cold water almost to top, then placed reuseable ice packs around the bucket & filled the sink with COLD water, by placing the reuseable ice packs around the bucket & filled sink, I now have created a SUPER COLD environment both inside & outside the bucket.
I have seen where MANY so called "Experts" use the "3" bag method...45-70-160 micron...I purchased a 5 bag Micropore kit, which contained a 220-160-110-73-25 micron bags.
Here's where my discovery happened

....I used the 220-110-73.....AND the 25!!!!
If you have NOT used the 25 micron...you have BOTH WASTED ALLOT of "PRIMO" & are in for a BIG SURPRISE!!!
I'm going to find some 10 micron bags & 5 micron bags, as I believe even the 25 micron bag is missing a certain amount of SUPER "Primo".
Also FORGET about the hot water in the bottle pressing technique, it's for Cavemen....instead use your HEAVY iron set on Looooow, place your product as you normally would in the ziplock bag, then place a towel over the plastic bag and start "Ironing"!!!!, if an iron can be placed against delicate cashmere sweater, it can also..."Iron your Bubble"!!!.....Hot water in a bottle???!!!....WAKE UP!!!!...it's the 21st Century!!!!...Alex
