Hello i am planning on setting up a grow room very soon i have a 600w hps/mh digital switchable ballast wiv a cool tube hood that i am using as my main light. my friend gave me a couple of 250w mh bulbs will they be ok to use instead of flousent bulbs for young plants? also the bulbs came from a warehouse and they have a frosty coating on them will this affect things in any way? thanks in advance for any help i recieve.
