So first of all i am new and want to thank everyone for the help i got from this site..

Well i have a 1m width by 0.5m depth and 2m hieght. I am thinking in getting 2 plants in there.
Do you guys think a 250w hps will do it or would i need 400 watter ????

well more light the better but you want to make sure youll be able to adequately ventilate that area.

yes whatever the light i'm going to fix a cool-tube and proper ventilation...
Do you think with a 250 watter i should get at least 1 oz off each plant bdw i'm going to lst my plants..

i always just assume im going to get about an oz from each plant its just a common average, even more so when you have much more than the required lumen per sq foot ration like you do.
plus theres really no way to predict your harvest, it all depends on you and your plants. I advise study, I couldn't grow for years so I just studied about it. this site has taught me alot but i wouldn't limit yourself to here there's a whole world wide web out there full of weed growing info.

Dual 250 watters, side by side cooltubes, custom Y pipe with elbows on each end, and a relatively high speed 6 inch fan. You could even slap a carbon filter on the intake end to get rid of smell. I was thinking about doing this setup in my .6m x 1.2m x 1.8m cab with dual 400s, but didn't have the extra cash.

Dont you mean exhaust?

Nope intake. Better to suck air through a filter. This setup is highly inefficient though. 1x6in cooling the lights and one exhausting heat is best. 175-200CFM should work pretty well for each.

Yeah with the filter the fan loses a lot of air speed. So i would put the filter on a seperate line and fan and just cool the light individually. Thats what I do and it works well. However you need to have your light exhausting into a different room cause you could still have problems with trying to get cool air in the cab. Remember the fans for the light only keep the lights cool not your grow area. Your grow has to be cooled by the outside air getting pulled in by fans or passive intake so if the room is hot from the exhaust of the light then you wont have a cool temperature in the garden.
