2nd grow, 1st indoor grow

Well this is my second grow ever. The first one I completed outdoors on my balcony, but with Steven Harpers new drug strategy, we thought it'd be safer to do our grows indoors, in our closet.

Here's a crude diagram of the setup I've been thinking of (below)

Some points about the diagram

- Lines are fan direction... Top fan is blowing into an attic


Now for some questions
1. Should I just attach a carbon filter and vent exhaust into the attic or do I need to vent it outside?

2. Is it alright if I just use 5-6'' fans for everything or will I need something like a squirrel cage fan going in/out?

3.The fan at the top of the veg room.. should I vent that exhaust with dryer hose up to the fan at the top of the flowering chamber?

I believe that's it... once it's all set up I'll be doing a grow journal with pics.

1. Venting into the attic should be fine.

2. I would recommend a squirrell cage fan over an in-line fan anyday. The in-line ones are crap.

3. You need a fresh air intake preferrably into both chambers. This could be as simple as a nice sized vent toward the bottom of both chambers with a good squirrell cage fan at the top (output into the attic) to pull air in as it also exhausts spent hot air out.

I would also recommend NOT cheaping-out on things as you will always end up replacing it anyway. Plus, you're not going to grow crucial herb with CFLs and in-line fans anyhow. Do it right and you will be pleased. Half-ass it and you'll be dissapointed.
