2nd Grow, 33 Northern light cuts

Hi all,

second time around, lets hope this grow goes as well as the last. bigger and better, 1st grow was 14 kush cuttings and this time we have 33 northern
light cuttings....

GROWROOM: same as before darkroom dr 240, 2.4m x 2.4m x2m, 2x 600 hps lights, 8" intake fan and 10" extraction and carbon filter to suit also now has 2 x 16"oscilating fans inside tent keeping things moving.

GROW MEDIUM: miracle gro multi purpose soil now, previously used biobizz allmix but all i seemed to achieve with that was pest infestation so i thought i would use something alot cheaper and totally different this time as i suspect the small flying pest problem seem to arise from allmix 2 or 3 days after potting.

NUTES: Starting cuts with just water for first week then starting half dose of Hesi root complex and Hesi vit slowly working up to full dose over 2 week period. then i will be at 12/12 flickover when i will start using hesi bloom complex and then a booster accelerator again to finish off.


All going good so far temp and humidity starting off well, bought 20 litre dehumidifier for this grow to avoid very high humidity issues that i suffered in later stages of flower last time.

got a little impatient so here's a couple more pics

day 5 veg, so far only used Hesi vit & Hesi root complex to help with potting stress and root building,no feed yet for another week or so.......

also bought 20 ltr de-humidifier for later stages of flower as r/h crept
a little high last time..

all looking really healthy at this stage appart from a couple of late starters which i will have to remove...

temps and humidity all good and no fly infestation YET

another update.almost at 3rd week of flower,bud sites appearing, around 32" tall now and still growing..

bought 5ltr pump up water sprayer ,now their starting to get aliitle outta hand,used it 2day for 1st time and ave 2 say an absolute bargain 15 quid at b&q...recommend 2 anyone strugglin to feed their girls..

Damn they are lookin sick! How much did you pay for the 2x 600 hps lights? I cant wait to see them in a few weeks, they are gonna be monsters!

is that the darkroom or the streetbox version ?

thanx for comments mate,

bought 2 x second second hand parabolic shades from my local grow shop
for £30 each.
then bought 2 x new 600w ballasts and hps bulbs for £180 from same shop.

worked out ok with the 2 used shades.

all new apart from parabolic light shades, about £900.
but i have to say best cash spent for long time.....
this is my second grow, first was 15 kush cuttings in this same setup
turned out great, nice smell and tight buds got approx 3 oz per plant.

hi again all,
right here we are again, the girls are now at 18 days of flower.
buds are coming on well now but plants are fucking tall compared to last grow, tallest is 40" thats nearly 10" taller than the kush
at this stage on last grow
the plant with no feed in brown pot is keeping up with rest so far, doing me proud considering she has had nothing but water.
the real test wil be when the boost is added to the rest in a few days and she still has none...

ok here's another update, we are now at day 24 of flower and all is well.
so fingers crossed it will stay that way .

the plant with NO feed is still keeping up with the majority

Damn, thats crazy that the plant with no feed is right there with the rest of them. I cant wait till my babies grow nice and bushy so I can take some clones off of them, 2 months for veg seems like forever...... great pics as always! How long till harvest do you think?

yeah i reckon the lady with no feed will fall short on bud growth
at the end compared to rest....we will see.....

should be around 4 weeks till chop, give or take as u can't be sure.

They are starting to fill out nicely! Hows the plant with no feed holding up? Still holding up with the rest of them? Have you ever tried to scrog? You should try it with a few plants, I bet you would like the results lol. I just started my scrog grow about 2 weeks ago. I will start a journal in a few weeks, Ill let you know when I do so you can check it out. Keep up the good work!
