2nd Grow - Need advice

Hello everyone. I’m currently running my second grow. It is indoors in a 4x2x5 feet tent. I currently have 12 plants. I want to end up with 6-8 plants (hopefully I get enough females). I’m running mushu’s stash by dragon farms genetics (left), forbidden space fruit by bigworm genetics (middle), and jack herer bag seed (right). Under 2 100W LEDs. Coco with perlite. Canna Coco A and B nutrients with general hydroponics cal-magin RO water. Temps are 77-80 with lights on and 70-75 with lights off. RH is 50-65%. I need to know when to start flowering. I don’t want my sativas to get too big for my tent, but I also want to allow enough time for some of the small plants to grow a bit. I’ve LST’ed the two jack herers which are in the big pots. Any advice on when I should switch to flower? Should I use a trellis? Also, please feel free to give me advice/critiques if you see something wrong or that could be improved. I want to be proactive in addressing any problems. Thanks in advance everyone!

Stress free flip to flower is pretty much anytime after pre-flowers have emerged. Pre-flowers generally start showing between weeks 4&6 for photoperiod. No clue on autos.

These aren’t autos. All regular seeds. However no pre flowers have started to show yet unfortunately. Should I wait till all show pre-flowers or flip before then? I just don’t want some of them to get too big for the tent while I wait on the others to catch up

Watch your branch nodes. With your current setup, if you try to flip just some of the plants into flower, they'll all stay in veg. If you can partition your tent and seal all light leaks between the two chambers you can give them all the time you want to veg. You can force them into showing their sex by cutting their light to 12&12 but then you risk having to re-veg them if you weren't happy with their height. With a 5'tall tent you only get about 4'(if you're lucky) of growing room(light hanger, plant size...) so you are going to have to keep a watchful eye on those sativas.
