2nd time extracting

This will be my 2nd extraction. Let's skip all the scat and get to it:
I have a vacuum purger
I have a 1400g fresh, flash frozen trim and shake/dickbud mixture.

I'm doing 2 batches:
700g blasted with butane &
700g blasted with 70/30 butane/propane mixture


How much plant material should I pack per tube
and how many cans of butane should I use per tube?

Just wanna get a general idea on what everyone else is using

I pack my tubes 90% full for efficiency of butane, leaving 10% for jet stream expansion and a pressure buffer.

1 can of butane per ounce is typical, I do more, about 400-450ml of butane per ounce.

My highest yields come when the material is well torn apart, and the packing in the tube is consistent and not too tight. Tight packing increases the risk butane will channel through one easy area and miss areas with a higher density packing.

I pack the tube with coffee filters first, to diffuse the incoming LPG stream and pack from 3.8 to 4.1 grams per cubic inch of capacity. Lightly broken up buds into about 1/2" chunks at 3.8 gm/in3 and 10 mesh at 4.1 gm/in3.
