2x 600w Backstar grow!!!! New Set up!!! (Lots of Pics!!!)

Ok this is my 2nd grow. My first was 3 plants under a 4ft 4 bulb t5...so this is a bit of an upgrade. Heres what ive got going.

- 2x White Rhino
- 2x Mendo Purps
- 1x Cinderella Afghani
- 1x Alaskan Thunder Fuck

New Set Up:

- 2x 600 watt Blackstar Led Lights
- Flame Defender
- Sentinel EVC-2 Temp/Humidity Controller
- 6in Vortex fan
- Carbon filter
- Duct Muffler
- Air Purifier
- 16in Fan (adding another one tomorrow)
- Exhale CO2

Nutrients:
- General Hydroponics floranova Bloom
- Advanced Nutrients Big Bud
- Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy
- Advanced Nutrients Overdrive
- Botanicare Cal-Mag+
- General Hydroponics Flora Nectar (Pineapple)
- Great White Mycorrhizae

Plants have vegged for 56 days (8 weeks) under 2 4ft 4 bulb T5s and look pretty healthy. Ill be updating this with a lot of pics so feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like!

sick, loving the led setup. have you used hid much, or cfls? how do they compare? your plants just look down right happy & healthy! like the nute combo also!

Awesome mate =D this looks really interesting... I am myself bound and determined to fill a 2x4x5.5 (width x length x height in feet) tent with 2 scrogged plants under 2 240w blackstars with my next grow... will be DNA Martian Mean Green and Barneys Red Dragon

6 plants feels about right to me for a couple of 600w blackstars... Keep up the good work!

Pulling up a seat for this one. I know the bs500 pulls just over 300w, what about the 600s -- are they around 400w actual?

Blackstar has a "900" model too... prob around 500ish watts...

very cool setup,thanks for posting this.any info on the bigger 900w led panel by these guys?seems like there price is reasonable for the size panels they make.hows the heat from your 2 x 600 panels?subbed!!

ive never used the 900s...they seem pretty nice. still waiting on someone to post up a grow with one. The heat from the 2 600s isnt bad at all. Its about the same as my 2 4 bulb T5s. Ill be posting up some more pics tomorrow as it will be day 7!

Ok its been a while since i have updated...sorry for the delay. Here are pics that i took from Flowering day 8 a couple days ago.




also one of my plants isnt looking that great. Ive also got some bottom leaves yellowing and what not. is it normal for this to happen?

hey, plants look great. since you cut the light back to 12 hrs they are just acclimating. so ya might lose a few leaves in the process. all normal.
can't wait to see some bud porn

600w Blackstar is the shit. I have one and my plants are absolutely gorgeous. Plants grew fast as shit under the Blackstar. I am amazed. I will post pics.
