3 mothers, 10 inches so far, when do I start to cut clones? Should i top?

I have three plants, one of which is already topped. I want to cut clones from them and am wondering when a good time to start cutting the clones would be. My GDP mother is growing very tall instead of bushy and im wondering if i should top it? I wonder if it would be worth it considering I need the clones by the next month. Thanks!!

hey there. Clones can take up to two weeks to root enough for transplant, sometimes longer, better get on it. Ya you should top the GDP if it's gonna be a mother, you want multiple shoots all over the place for propagation. You can really cut clones anytime the plant has more than a few grow tips, it's up to your own judgement. Good luck.

maybe grow them out a bit more, study up on cloning, then cut within 2 weeks of your deadline, you should have success
