First time grower, growing in soil, haven't added any nutes, water it every 2-3 days, below are the 2 plants its effecting PLEASE HELP

What might be causing it and how might I fix the problem?

wow that thing looks like a freaking oak tree it's stretched so much. that yellowing on the bottom leaves is pretty common, but you definitely need to transplant into a bigger pot and give it some nutes. oh yeah, and a lot more light.

the yellowing is from a lack of nutrients

Lol that one plant is so dang tall! And I agree with the guy above me he knows what he's talking about.
